HIS GRACE
God in his throne of mercy and being gracious
had to have a fellowship with man. In the Garden of Eden, man had a choice of
making or not making a right decision. When man sinned, he fell short of God’s
grace. God’s grace is the acceptance of God even though we don’t deserve it. He
had the power to reject us and wipe all his creation, but his grace was
sufficient. All the generation after Adam had to endure a lot in the hands of
the oppressor, Satan.
But Noah found grace in Gods eyes in that
whole generation (Genesis 6:8) and God had favor in him, through His grace, the
generation was saved through His Grace on Noah. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and all
through to David had God’s grace even in their own weakness.
As we come to the New Testament, God was
gracious enough to send his Only Son
to save mankind and reconcile them back to him. Jesus in his state and form of
man saved us and made it gracious through the cross to all mankind.
In the present situation, we are no better,
we have sinned and not worthy to go to God without His grace, but he is willing
to save and forgive us. He is willing to make our weakness into his strength;
all we need is to be willing and available for his sufficient Grace.
As in Luke 2:40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled
with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. We ought to pray to God to
grant us His Grace that is so sufficient. Rom 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for
obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: We should be glad that
this is the time that we need His grace for sufficient in the current
life. Let’s not take for granted his grace upon our life. Let’s give our
life to His grace.
